Wendy Thompson, the dynamic general manager for Telemundo 64, the local affiliate of the Spanish-language television network, arrived in the USA at age 21. She graduated from Montgomery College, where the mission statement begins, “we are in the business of changing lives.” Her next step was a business degree from the University of Maryland and the rest is history.
