When Deborah took the helm of Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in 2000, the hospital’s accreditation was in jeopardy. In only 18 months, it received the highest level of accreditation possible. Never finished with the work of assuring quality care, Deborah guided the hospital into its next 25 years, with innovative programs such as building neighborhood emergency medical centers.
